Scholarships

The First in Flight chapter is proud to offer four annual scholarships!

    The First in Flight Scholarship is dedicated to assisting an individual in the pursuit of achieving their aviation dream.

    The Dreams Soar Scholarship supplements the cost of aviation equipment or flight training expenses.

    The two Conference Scholarships awarded provide full registration to the Women in Aviation International Conference.

Applicants are evaluated based upon merit, career aspirations, dedication, contributions to the community, First in Flight chapter involvement, and following the application directions.

Members and non-members are encouraged to apply and will be evaluated based on the criteria listed on the application. However, preference for our scholarships are given to applicants who have either volunteered at or participated in chapter events, attended chapter meetings, or demonstrated active participation within the chapter.

All applicants must be living, working, or studying within North Carolina or South Carolina. Awards are paid directly to the organization, university, college, flight school or program of choice. Applicants must use funds within one year of acceptance.
